With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, Adriana Zupa-Fernandez is a global leader dedicated to advancing science, sustainability, and health. She has discovered small molecule therapies, managed clinical trials, and successfully brought first-in-class assets—such as the FDA-approved Sotyktu—to patients. As a scientist, Adriana played a key role in promoting workplace equity, co-creating policies and guidelines for underrepresented groups, and leading sustainability initiatives.
Adriana has leveraged her innovative approach to serve as a leader in both Corporate Diversity & Inclusion and Global Sustainability, building impactful global teams from the ground up. In recent years, she has spearheaded efforts at the intersection of health and the environment, leading multiple internal and external programs focused on this critical area. An advocate, trailblazer, and published author, Adriana now serves as Global Director of Occupational Health Resiliency at Bristol Myers Squibb.
