Amy Springsteel

Amy Springsteel is a senior, chief executive named to The Top 15 Influencers in Sustainability Roles and honored as one of The Responsible 100, New York's top outstanding thought leaders, visionaries and influencers in sustainability. She is well-versed in the creation and centralization of sustainability departments for large corporations, having held the Chief Sustainability Officer role at Bloomberg LP and head of enterprise ESG and head of corporate responsibility roles at BNY Mellon (NYSE:BK), the world’s largest custodial bank and one of only thirty named global systemically important banks (G-SIBs) and Voya Financial (NYSE: VOYA, formerly ING U.S.), a leading retirement, employee benefits and investment management company. After various roles in consulting, marketing and nonprofit development, she embarked on her sustainability career at Addison, now Sia. There she managed Fortune 100 client relationships, acting as a strategist helping brand and communicate companies’ sustainability work through reporting, public relations and website development.
Amy was a Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship visiting professor in the new Master of Science program in Social and Sustainable Enterprises at Florida State University. She is the chair emeritus of the AccountAbility AA1000 Standards Board, and a proud member of the Junior Achievement of New York Board of Directors and the CECP Advisory Board. She holds certifications in SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Level I, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights/Columbia University Sustainable Investing. She earned both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from The Florida State University.
